No to rounded shoulders!
These are my favorite stretches to avoid rounded shoulders:
Roll a bath towel as in the picture (fold in 4 then roll lengthways).
1- Release neck and shoulders
Place the rolled towel along your spine, tip of the towel in the middle of your ribcage, so your shoulder blades, neck and head are on the floor. Turn out the arms so the inner elbows and palms are facing up. Hold for a minute minimum, breathing in the front ribs.
2- Thoracic spine opening
Place the rolled towel across the middle of your ribcage, tip of the shoulder blades touching the mat. Turn out the arms so the inner elbows and palms are facing up. Hold for a minute minimum, breathing in the front ribs.
3- Opening the shoulders more…
Place the rolled towel along the spine, head on the towel. Let the shoulders drop towards the floor. Turn out the arms so the inner elbows and palms are facing up. Hold for a minute minimum, breathing in the front ribs.
