The ideal setting for a laptop is on a stand, an extra keyboard (small is best) and vertical mouse (see earlier blog).
There is a wide range of laptop stands. I chose ‘the cricket’. It is light and when folded takes little room. It allows the air to circulate so the computer doesn’t heat up. It is adjustable and fits any size. Great also when travelling.
When travelling and tablets are not available, an inflatable knee cushion or ‘Posturite Lap desk’ (a foam pellets filled cushion) could be a good alternative to support your laptop.
